How do I register for a SESSION?
To sign up, please click Schedule A Session on the navigation bar at the top of the website, choose the your location, and enter your details in the registration form. You will then be guided through the payment process where you can purchase various session packages. Please note that sessions are booked in advance.
CAN I SHARE CLASS PACKAGES BETWEEN LOCATIONS?
Class packages cannot be shared between locations due to different pricing structures. Class packs can be used up to a year from the date of purchase, so there is ample time for you to make use of whichever permutation of packs you purchase. Please note that you will need to create separate logins for each location. You can make your logins identical for your convenience.
Do I need to be in shape to do the Megaformer workout?
No. The workout can benefit anyone. We are a small studio to offer individual attention as needed and all fitness levels are welcome, however, you do need to be cleared by your doctor for exercise. If you have any medical issues preventing you for exercising, this is not the workout for you.
How long is a Session?
Both studios offer a 50-minute workout session.
How often should I come?
To start, two sessions a week are recommended. As fitness and flexibility increase, you can attend more frequently; however, we recommend leaving a rest day between sessions to allow your body time to recover.
What should I wear/bring with me?
You will sweat on the Megaformer, so we recommend stretch pants or shorts and a t-shirt or sports top. Some of the exercises are done in the prone and supine positions, so dress accordingly. We have towels and water available at the studio.
How does A session work?
Our sessions start at a designated time, as per the schedule, so please be on time. You will not be admitted if you are more than 10 minutes late, and the session will not be refunded. To get the most from the workout you need to complete it from start to finish, which is why we insist on timeliness.
When you arrive, please come in, have a seat and, as soon as the beds are available, please pick one. We will begin straight away. If this is your first session, please arrive 5-10 minutes early so that we can familiarize you with the Megaformer.
Do you have a waitlist?
We do. If a session is full, you can sign up for the waitlist online. If there are any cancellations, we will let you know in advance. Please note that you will only be added to a session from the waitlist if a spot opens up 45 minutes prior to the session starting. This is to ensure that you have time to get to the studio upon notification.
Where can I park?
For Corelab, parking is available next to and behind the studio, on the street and in the parking lot across from the studio. For Corelab Armonk, please park in the upper (closest) parking lot just behind the building at 475 Main Street, Armonk.
Can I workout on the megaformer if I am pregnant?
For clients who are pregnant and new to the workout, we do not advise starting our workout until after pregnancy. However, clients who have been regularly attending sessions may continue working out with us through the end of the second trimester. Please note that we will need a signed consent form from your doctor first. After giving birth, please allow six weeks before you return to the Megaformer workout, as your body needs time to recover.
Can YOU help me with my rehabilitation needs?
This workout is not intended to be rehabilitative. Though there are certain rehabilitative-like benefits from doing the workout, such as increased flexibility and improved posture, the workout is intended for healthy individuals, cleared for exercise by their doctor.
Do you offer private sessions?
We are happy to offer individual, duo or private group sessions. Please contact us for pricing and scheduling.
How long are my Session PACKAGES valid for?
Your sessions are valid for 12 months from date of purchase as noted on your receipt.
What if I need to cancel a Session?
You can cancel a scheduled session online in the same way that you booked your session. Please be aware that if you need to cancel a session, Corelab and Corelab Armonk operate a strict 12-hour cancelation policy. You must cancel your session at least 12 hours in advance. If you cancel your session less than 12-hours in advance, your account will not be re-credited.
